Weight of ae 100 body style

I searched and couldnt find they tend to quote the same weight for all the body styles
Does any one know
What are the weight of the ae101 5dr compared to the sedan and the other models.

what shape have you got?

I dont have a corolla yet. I am searching and hope to get the hatchback we have the 5 doors. ,but are rare here .
But I have the engine (3s ge beams ) from a celica SS III ready
Thats why I would like to know the weight difference

That would be the gross weight (the maximum allowable weight when the car is fully loaded with passengers and cargo). The curb weight should be about 1010kg for the sedans, however it differs between the models and also between FWD vs 4WD, diesel vs petrol, the engine the car is fitted with, and automatic vs manual.

Here's some examples of what the different weights are of a JDM SE Limited model like mine:

SE Limited 5-speed manual, petrol = 1010kg
SE Limited 4-speed automatic, petrol = 1050kg
SE Limited 5-speed manual, diesel = 1090kg
SE Limited 4-speed automatic, diesel = 1110kg

The 4WD SE Limited model weighs even more. As a comparison, the base model DX sedan (5-speed petrol) weighs only 930kg. I'm not sure what a hatchback model would weigh, but take the above factors into consideration when trying to calculate it

1100kg is OK what do you reckon the hatcback would be heavier or lighter
As for rigidity of the chassis i think the sedan would be more rigid

No problem. I did a bit of searching and managed to find the weights of the Australian model hatchbacks. The hatchback Corollas from other markets will be around the same weight:

The lowest spec model with a 4A-FE engine and 5-speed manual transmission weighs 1040kg, the middle spec model with the same engine and transmission weighs 1065kg and the top model with a 7A-FE engine and 5-speed transmission weighs 1100kg.

So you'd be looking at around the 1065kg mark on average

My 5-door is 1030kg with driver.
