What engines did the Corolla come with?

Right guys,
i want to know what engine the corolla got, this is what i know off the top of my head...

4E-FE

4A-FE
5A-FE
7A-FE

4A-GE 20V

3S-GE

Anything else?

dont think the 3sge came in a standard corolla though

In Australia the AE112R came with a factory 7A-FTE (turbo) but it's a 2001 so technically it's an 8th Gen.

As for the factory 7th Gen engines, they also came with the 2E (1300cc 12-valve carby) and the 4A-F (1600cc 16-valve carby).

there are only 14 units (TRD2000) sold, 12 were ae101 corolla and 2 ae101 ceres... hth

I can't remember what the AE1**'s had but they AE92's in the UK came equipped with:

*2E - 1.3 Petrol 4 Cylinder which was found in the GL Saloon and GL Hatchback. Both Carburettors.

*4A-F - 1.6 Petrol 4 Cylinder which was found in the GL Saloon and GL-Executive Saloon.

*4A-GE - 1.6 Petrol EFI 4 Cylinder found in the GTi-16 Hatchbacks and on a very rare occasion, a GTi Saloon!

There were two different 4A-GE's in the GTi's, a 3rd Generation TVIS version and the later Non-TVIS Hi-Torque version. Rather ironically my TVIS engine felt as if it had more torque than my dads Hi-Torque engine. Right the way up until it wrapped a bearing around Crank Journal 2.

Interestingly, the JDM 7th Gen's never came with the 7A-FE, or any of the 7th Gen's that we got here for that matter. Although I guess they made up for it with the 4A-GE Cool

. The 7A-FE came in some Toyota Caldinas and some AE111 Sprinter Carib wagons however.
