Big Classic Project...

Well here it is my short future project....

Short Story:

Since i was like...hmmmm... 13 years old me and my Bro where always dreaming for having my grandpa's car (PONTIAC CATALINA 1965).

Like a year ago he surprised us saying: "hey, you both always has told me that you like the "Big Hornet" (that's the name he gave to the car ). Well, here you have. Gave me the keys, and told me to put it on my name, cause the car was on my fathers name (the papers). And well, no more typing hehe. Here it is my Pontiac Catalina 1965 4Doors V8/389 CU. IN. 6.4L (STOCK)...





















And this is one of the little things i replaced, because the breaks were not working well. THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER... The engine its working perfect (and i was a little scared because when i got the car it was more than a year that the car haved never been started haha)



So i think i will have a lot of work there... in the exteriors and interiors... I will try to make that stock AM/FM "STEREO" work again and the air condit. I think its the compressor....

Hope to start full restoration in mids 2013... Have other things to do first...

thanks man... hope that the new year starts with some good news im waiting... and then... WALLA!

Yeah getting a car like that is definatly a good start to the new year, let's hope things stay as good as that for the rest of the project.

Hey that car looks to be in really good shape considering! Just a few repairs needed to the inside, and some proper wheels. It runs fine?

Oh yeah... it runs great. Once i lubricated all the engine... in the first week i got it... i was feeling excited about push to the floor for first time in my life the gas of a V8 muscle car... but for the other side... it's a classic... so i was thinking to be gentle...

But the adrenaline won... and i stopped to 0... push to the floor... and i think you haved an idea of a muscle car behavior... haha if i dont take the foot of the gas the burnout wont stop.... that was the first and last time i've done that

This looks like it's gonna be a good project. The body looks in great shape, have fun with it!

thanks! if there some one that's inn the muscle car restoration... it would be good to be in contact in a close future, for some tips... also other of you, doesnt matter if never haved work in a muscle... i know some of you does body repairs hehe

wow such a sweet ride.. would love to restore an american muscle.. though my favourite is a mustang gt500

ohhhh haha yeah... the 1967 shelby gt500 is my fav!
