New Grill in Celebration of Initial D's Return

Hi Guys!

The much awaited series is back, Initial D [AE86 TRUENO] which started airing
last November 2012 [to those fans who doesn't know yet].

Early days of December that I found out that Initial D is back and coincidentally
I bought a very rare emblem here in the Philippines - TRUENO



This TRUENO Emblem came from AE111 BZ-G [well my real target was AE101 but i cannot
find one]. So I start creating a custom made grill [actually I started this project
of mine this jan 2013 because of Christmas Holiday and Family gathering]

here's my old and slightly damage grill


First I remove the toyota logo.


Then my old EK9 Civic rear door siding [made of plastic] I marked a pattern and
ready to be cut.


Glued by Epoxy Adheasive


Put some paint filler and sand it with sand paper. MAKE a hole for the Emblem.


Paint it with primer


Paint it with black [final coat] and install the emblem

SCREEN TYPE - LEVIN
CLOSE TYPE - TRUENO

THE FUNNY THING IS MY TARGET WAS AE101 TRUENO OR LEVIN EMBLEM BUT I GOT
AN EARIER OR LATE MODEL BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE BECAUSE I'M HAPPY
AND SATISFIED..

Woah, it DOES look a lot more like the Levin with the closed grille. Great job! All you're missing is the Levin's front bumper
