| Hi guys, just found this forum from the googling, and pretty awesome, maybe few here know my Corolla from ToyotaNation, maybe not so here's mine. few old pictures: Before the 15mm spacer: After: With new face(Hate the Angel eyes): Getting some Sweet stuff: With new fabric: Recaro on the car: And the story about the car is... I'm from Israel (yeah.. yeah.. I know what most of you guys think about Israel, and I don't care, I'm here because of my car hate politics.) and I'm Vietnamese. My father bought the Corolla from Toyota company in 1993, and saved it since then, the car got only 190km with first transmission and engine (I mention that because it's hard to find car in Israel that never change engine) when I was 15 years old I started to love the car, and now I'm 20 years old, started to buy stuff to the car, and my dad gave me the car. btw I'm the only one who took the AE101 serious, cause I started to hate Honda's and Subaru's and any mainstream car in the state, so I love doing special and unique cars that you don't see every day. my future project is: 4AGE 20V blacktop with TODA ingredients full system exhaust custom made Toyota Levin rear disc brakes Rota wheels Ksport coilovers and more stuff that ran out of my head right now. I will keep updating about my car. Best Regards. Mintho Le. | |

| Thanks Kenny and nice to know that I'm not the only Vietnamese here a lil update my friend hook me up with some Rota wheels I don't know what the name of the wheels the only thing I know is they are 14x6 et18 and weight like my little dog , So I will take those wheels even they are only 14" I need to save money for my real plan Rota Grid on 15-16". here some pictures maybe you guys can recognize the wheels, btw in Israel it's pretty lame but we got only 1 set of Rays Volk in the country, and never saw Rota wheels so maybe I'm the only guy with Rota in country. and even the Recaro seats those seats came from England from Evo4 so I have the only pair of SRD seats. | |

| Sorry for posting 2 posts in a raw but I forgot to update this Because of my damn country It's hard to get parts for the car from other countries and we have very hard emission test every year so any modifications that I want to do I will need to pay to few peoples to pass the emission. and about buying stuff from ebay like Crystal JDM headlights that cost 70$ and 100$ shipping 170$ total. yeah I wish it could cost 170$ dollars, I need to pay 170$x2 for the taxes! so I take a little project on my headlights: took a hair blower and open my original headlights and spray it and seal it with black silicon looks nice what do you guys think about the solution till I get the Crystal headlights. | |

| Awww I thought you were about to do a retro fit when I saw that pic. lol but I say keep what you have right now and forget the crystals, especially at that price. What you did looks really good in my opinion. Why would tax cost that much though? Normally tax only applies to items bought in a country/region, not out of it. | |

| I actually prefer that look actually, the stock head lights painted black! I think it looks like a sporty OEM part, rather than aftermarket. | |

| Thanks guys! Gold94corolla I thought about it too I will stay will those headlights. But I'm thinking about taking the BZ touring corner headlights anyone can tell me where I can buy them on the internet? And this week I will have something that is very hard to find in Israel, So I need rear JDM bumper with the licenses plate place, not the USDM one that is longer and I don't like it, help please. Kickfli12 I took from junkyard 2 braces with rails and welded on it 2 frames that will fit to the seats with bolts and that's it. And then I found in the net 2 braces from Corbeau for the AE's 100$ each. Best regards guys and have a nice week to all of you. | |

My Rota! looking little bit small but fine for now till the Grid, going to paint it to bronze. yeah my corner headlight with the "orange" vinyl looks like yellow, I just ordered Amber orange. and somebody know where I can find the shift base I don't know how it called, sometimes it's hard to get it in to the gear not perfectly. | |

| The garnish is very easy and simple to do, Iirc theres 8mm nuts you need to undo, take garnish off put new one on and tighten nuts again | |

| That garnish is pretty difficult to find here in the states as well. I can't believe I passed one up at the junk yard years ago. I really want it now. but yeah, what Ishaq said. It's held on by a couple of 8mm bolts and tabs. | |
