New corolla boy from Sydney, Australia

Hey guys and girls?
I was previously a mazda kid that had a bj2 astina until I fell asleep at the wheel and drove my csr into a pole. Then while looking for a replacement car I saw a clean white corolla and fell in love. Owned the car for a month and was so happy with it. Until I drove the car while it was overheating (don't ask why lol) and blew the head. The engine has just undergon a rebuild and I decided to turn the car into a luxury jdm cruiser with a bit of grunt. So here I am

Deciding which wheels to use. Thinking of painting the 5 spoke wheels in a gloss white. Planning to white up the car completely on the exterior. Headlights too

nice pics bro....i really love the idea of body matching the headlights......but go for matt white in them rather then gloss....and the bzt style look in the indicators.....

also i think u would need clear headlights......

Lowering springs in the near future?

What is bzt style? I always see it mentioned on here. What do you mean by clear headlights? Mine now are really foggy and yellowed. Was Thinking of buying headlight restoration kit.

Yes! Lowering springs. Was thinking of getting King springs some their warehouse is a30 minute drive from my house.any One have any other recommendations?

They are 17inch. That's all I know still very new to cars. Only Been into them for a year now.

BZT = BZ Touring, a wagon version that came with a couple of unique features (headlights/grille/front bar, + the blacktop 20V engine)

King springs are alright if you're on a budget, plenty of people using them with no problems but also plenty of people who have sagging issues over time. I personally run Lovells instead (plus Lovells are local for me). If you can afford it it is worthwhile getting new struts at the same time as getting springs (since you have to take them out of the car to fit the springs anyway), KYB Excel-G are the standard aftermarket shock that a lot of Corolla people fit, and they won't break the bank either.

Thanks heaps for the advice man. Do you know if the bzt was available in Australia or was it Japan only? I need ti research more about this haha. Are there any other Australians on here or am I the only one? Australian corolla correspondent lol

No BZTs here, we missed out on all the good stuff (Levins, FXGTs, GT Sedans, BZTs etc). You can get some good JDM stuff from New Zealand, though
