20v tailights probelm

hi i fitted 20v tailights on my xli corolla and the brake light is on when i turn on my lights on driver side and when i put my foot on brakes nothing happens it stays on?? the passenger side is working fine any ideas??
reason why i ask is cause it too dark to check it out so i look 2morow

Maybe it's just the bulb... could be that the bulb only has one (single fillament) "wire" instead of two (dual fillament). Otherwise there could be something wrong with the wiring, maybe someone soldered two wires together?

My first thought is the bulb to, then possibly the wiring

the bulb warning is turned on by the negative side try bringing the negative from the battery and see if the warning turns off . as far as i can tell the fx lights are the same as the other hatchbacks

it all plug and play i plug it 20v harness with xli loom and it on now

check the bulb, check the fog light switch, check the wiring behind the lights..

it should be a dual filament bulb

i see what is... have to get new bulbs anyways cause of new laws in lreland
