| Technically possible, yes (it has been done before)
Practically/financially possible is a completely different story. Massive amounts of work need to be done, from the engine bay to the firewall, transmission tunnel, rear suspension/subframe/chassis, electrics etc including a lot of custom stuff (you don't buy engine mounts for a Corolla to suit a 1JZ off the shelf, for instance). | |

| Seems like a lot of people ask this question, but no one ever ends up doing it. I'm sure you can imagine all the work you'd have to do, and there's not much we can say except that it would take an unbelievable amount of money, work, patience, and time. It's just not worth it to most people. | |

| Exactly - if you want a smallish, RWD, 2JZ-powered Toyota then go buy an IS300 and save yourself 99% of the hassle | |
