| Hi Guys ,
I've a couple of questions about HIDs and angel eyes about my AE101
I've recently bought a pair of angel eyes like theses : http://www.google.mu/imgres?imgurl=http://foireautomobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/20110914_021.jpg&imgrefurl=http://foireautomobile.com/listing/toyota-ee101-fully-tuned-glanza-engine/&usg=__AIPr473PqpXJVRis1bhKbzGcbV4=&h=600&w=798&sz=98&hl=en&start=3&zoom=1&tbnid=C1-V1J9H4qLibM:&tbnh=108&tbnw=143&ei=zx9wUdiaEM3prQfUpYGICA&um=1&itbs=1&sa=X&ved=0CDAQrQMwAg
and bought as well a Bosch HID kit with 8000K D2S D2R D2C HID Xenon 35W. http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/pair-car-8000k-d2s-d2r-d2c-hid-xenon-replacement/14013982-142683471.html
The thing is that at night, when i'm driving on low beam, it's as if i'm driving on high beam and is not pleasant for other drivers.
Moreover, on the new angel eyes headlamp, it's written "HID bulb not allowed"... is this really causing the problem?? Should i place Halogen bulbs instead of HIDs?
Please advise as i would like to know what are the solutions to reduce the beam.
Thanks guys! | |

| Hi, your lights are either too high, or ..... wait a minute, you bought D2C bulbs??!??!/ No wonder!!!!!! You need H1 bulbs for those projectors, it says H1 right on it. And 8000k is not a good color, you should get 5000k or 4300k for the best brightest light | |

| I concur! H1 is the one to go, as well as max 6000k... 8000k is way too blue | |

| Hi Guys, thanks for all your support... The guy who did the setup adjusted the headlights ..yes they were installed at a higher level. Now my HIDs does not affect incoming drivers like before I'm very happy of the results! i will post some pictures so that you can see the result and color getting from the Xenon HID bulbs! By the way, the bulbs are H1 and came with the Bosch HID conversion Kit. Thanks again! | |

| OK, yeah I thought they must be too high lol. Shine them a wall and take a pic so we can see the output D2C is a bulb that fits both D2S and D2R housings. | |

| A rumor I heard about angel eyes is that they do not dissipate heat and people are reluctant towards these angel eyes because of it as it results in melting of the angel eyes.... What will you say about that?

| Well, the angel eyes don't melt, but the heat can burn out the LEDs | |

| Well, if you like how they look, go for it. Worst thing, they don't light up. They aren't that bright anyway. I personally don't go for that sort of look anymore, but I have tried them myself, and yeah the LEDs would burn out | |
