| hi guys. I got a noob question  is it possbile to adjust the mileage? could you give me a link on where I could check on it. I just got my ae101 stock and the mile age is 215k. the car really runs fine the only thing that bothers me is the mile age. if in case in the future i will be selling it. thanks in advance. | |

| Hey I tripped the tumblers ova manually with no problems advised thanks to Chris. Just one movement with sharp tool. | |

| Yes, I made a DIY on changing the mileage (I'm Chris as mentioned), but only for swapping clusters to make the numbers match. Why do you want to change the numbers? | |

| Had to come back after reading this .....the only reason was putting in a new engine was going to use the FXGT cluster that came with motor but I really like the 4 dial GT cluster. | |

thanks for the reply. I want to replace the speedometer. the other guage is not working properly and the appearance is not good also. I want to restore the car I bought just to make it look good again | |

| OK guys how do you do that I was swaping today the cluster with rpm but I can't change the mileage. I did what Chris did but in my case it's very hard to turn the gearing for up the number. I was afraid to broke it soo I stopped. Help please. | |

| try turning the other way, one way will be easier than the other (as its designed to turn one way) | |

| I turn the way to advance the number. Like 8 -->9. But you say to try to turn the other side 8-->7? I will try tomorrow, I reput the old cluster  . | |

| NO you have to to 8 to 9, in increasing order. It is hard to do, you just have to be very very firm and careful at the same time. IE if your hand slips, it's not going anywhere. | |
