Hello from Canada

Hello;

I'm happy to meet like-minded Corolla enthusiasts here. I live in British Columbia, Canada and I have had numerous Toyotas. Here's a list:

RT130 Corona
MX63 Cressida
AE101 Corolla (my old one)
AE92 Corolla Levin GT-Z
AL25 Tercel 4WD

After a few years without a car, I have got my mits on my second AE101 Corolla. It's a nice one, no rust, dents...rather clean indeed; I bought it from a Toyota employee. Being in Canada, it has taken me a few weeks to locate one with a manual gearbox as most of them have automatics. I plan to hopefully find a few of the more rare parts and accessories that I can encounter.

Welcome to the forums! Your Corolla sounds great. I spent a while looking for a 5-speed one too when I originally bought mine. Definitely worth the hunt . There are many rare parts available for them, so be prepared for a large hole to be burnt through your back pocket

Thanks to everyone for the welcome, eh. I'll take some photos of the car and I can put them here as well. I'm not sure what the common colour is in other countries, but in Canada it's gold. My old AE101 was gold and so is my new one. It is by far the most popular colour for these Corollas in Canada. Thanks also for the information about the parts. Thanks very much again.
