Well my little brother needs a car soon and seeing that my dad has 2 cars, a Camry and a Taco, he's giving me the Taco so my brother can drive the Corolla till he can buy his own car. He won't modifying it and he's a good driver in the Corolla, so I trust him. He's terrible at driving the truck though..


So here she is:

0-60 in the 7s and a pretty stiff Bilstein suspension to top it off.

This is my TRD RWD Tacoma Prerunner V6. Bumper is missing because the truck was in a small accident a while ago.

The TRD package comes with a limited slip, offroad suspension, white lettered tires, small fender flares, and other little things I can't think of at the top of my head.

I'm thinking leaving the bumper off and weld on a custom front bumper bar with 2 big KC lights for my first mod.

Then later (much later), install a supercharger made by TRD. That'll kick it up to around 254 bhp and 270 lb·ft  HP according to wikipedia.

From factory it has 190HP and 220 lbs.ft of torque. 3280 lbs curb wright (that's lighter than most midsized cars!). A monkey could do a burnout in this truck.

Wait.... you're corolla isn't yours anymore? Cool truck and all (especially for free lol) but aren't you worried about what will happen to the Corolla if it's his car?

The Corolla is still mine, seeing that I still pay the registration and insurance on it. The truck is pretty much my secondary ride in case he needs to use my Corolla.

And yes, naturally I'm a little worried since I've put a lot of work into it. It wouldn't matter if he was Tanner Foust or Jeff Gordon, I'd still be a bit uneasy.

I'm keeping the Corolla under my name, that is my baby. lol if anything, I'll hand the truck to him once he can pay for it... and learn to drive it properly. Or he could buy an Integra or Civic hatch like he always wanted.

But till then, they're both mine.

wow nice truck kenny, bet its quite abit more fun (power wise) than the rolla
my rolla is more or less that horsepower too, but nowhere near that torque

lol thanks guys, I really like it as well. It handles like it's on coilovers too. And the ability to go offroad just makes it even more fun.

Mostly just the turning radius and parking. lol he either parks on the line or turns a corner way too wide.

Well, if he can't learn how to handle the truck, I'd definitely not trust him with my baby!
