flashing engine light! Q.Q

Guys I let a guy change my main engine seal the other day, but now when I turn on the ignition the engine light flashes quickly. Any thoughts?? Idk what he did but the car drives like cap now.

check the diagnostic port, if 2 of the ports are joined then it will flash quickly ...

try disconnecting the battery and connecting it back again, see what happens..

Didnt check the diagnostic port, but we did disconnect the battery several times, even left it disconneted for about 30 mins, Still it flashes. But it stops some times, as in some times when i turn on the ignition, no flashing then other times it flashes :\

hmmm that is interesting

maybe he messed about with some wired when he took your engine bay apart, try to retrace all the wires leading away from the diagnostic port and make sure they are not trapped or unsheathed or anything

I got a diagnostic test done and I got codes 21 and 24...can you tell me what these codes are? My engine is the standard 4age 20valve silvertop. Let me know soon as you can

code 21 = oxygen sensor error

code 24 = Intake Air Temperature Sensor signal
