Yeah celica ones didnt fit as the celica box and corolla box sit in slightly different place. Wiring sorry i cant help, bt will ask the guy who did mine to try come on and try to explain it

Yeah, but you're quite experienced nowadays aren't ya So I take it that taking out the engine won't be a problem Just wondering, what does it take to take out the engine? Do you have to replace all the gaskets? Is it like the following?: - unplug the wiring + gascable/shiftcables - remove/unscrew the mounts and exhaust - lift it

take drive shaft out, unbolt box and wires, engine mount, raise the car and drop gearbox down. Dunno how much maneuvering room you have tho!!

found out that it wasnt the box, it was the drivers side inner cv joint
took the shaft out and it literally fell into 2 pieces
so went and picked up another shaft and started to swap them over
where its been cut, shortened and welded again
the length of the drivers side shaft
and before you ask, i used a gen7 vvti celica shaft (same as gen6)
