The sad part is, it has been undercoated with rustcheck (I know because my mechanic was complaining about getting it in his hair lol).

SONAR Taillights

I ended up taking my car to Sound Concepts to have the trunk panel installed and wired in. I decided to wire the LED lighting up for running lights.

Now I just need an HID conversion kit. I tried installing them with my stock bulbs but I couldn't get the plug to connect because theirs not enough space to get the plug on. The bulb connection sits flush against that plastic circle.

they look nice, are your original bulbs h4? if so they wont fit in these, you need the 9005/9006 bulb iirc

Heres the bulbs I tried. I have been using them in my stock headlights but dont think there meant for the projector headlights?
Sylvania 9006 Coolblue & 9005 Silverstar

(I had to go and look up what H4 bulbs were lol) No, my original bulbs were 9005 & 9006 then I swapped them for the Sylvania bulbs (same shape as original bulbs).

These bulbs fit in my projector lights, but there is a plastic circle with 3 screws that locks the bulb and it is in the way of me connecting the plug into the wiring harness

ah i see what you mean, i have no idea what would, hopefully someone can help..

I finally figured out what I needed! I purchased a set of 9005xs & 9006xs Silverstar (cheap ones) bulbs today, but then I noticed that the o-ring seal for the bulbs were too small/narrow to make a proper seal in the headlight socket. So after searching around, I finally found what looked like the proper size o-ring.
Then, to further insure I would have no issues; I brought with me 1 of the tiny stripped screws which go with the plastic lock that seals the bulb in the socket. I ended up finding a pack of screws which were just a fraction bigger, which was perfect because a couple of the holes for the screws were widened out and stripped. Plus there were some scratches on the plastic lock.

The aftermarket headlights do not light up the road very well! They need major adjustments (well, the low beams anyway). But they look nice

The lighting is pretty terrible in these ones haha. Im starting to get use to the lighting of these headlights, and they seem to be fairly well sealed. Havnt noticed any water vapor inside them yet, except for the corner lenses and the corners of the taillights.

I cant seem to find the AE101 sticker thread to post my pics. I finally put my stickers on today. I took some pics but its hard to see because of the reflection






Im going to try for some more pics later tonight, should get a better picture then. Im quite happy with the colour of the stickers, its almost a direct match. Though I wish I positioned the one on the windshield a bit lower

...Its now snowing out and my car is currently getting covered so went out to take as many pics as I could to try and get a good pic of the stickers

Thanks, Im glad I got them on when I did. We got a horrible snow/ice storm last night (actually, its still snowing as I type). There is about a foot of snow on the ground and my car, plus a thin sheet of ice under the snow which made it difficult to shovel out the driveway. I guess winters not over yet

I just shovelled my driveway and brushed the snow off my car about 2 hours ago. and here is how it looks now

lol down south. Yep, but not as far down as Toronto. I live around the Belleville/Trenton area. Which part of Ontario are you from?

I am coming up with a list of paint projects for this spring that I want to do.

1. Paint Grill to match car (Green 6P5)
2. Paint Front Calipers and Rear Drums: I have not thought about which colour to paint them yet, but anything would look better then rust. Any suggestions or ideas?

3. Paint interior rear door locks and handles white to match the front
4. Paint the trim around my taillights to match the colour of the car? (still undecided)
5. Paint Valve Cover or just have it sand blasted and cleaned up?
6. Paint my alternator bracket
7. Replace as many rusty parts as possible lol
