Nothing says "check out my stock brakes!" more than painting your drums a really bright color.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with black for brakes.

What a beautiful day! +10 Celsius. Big change from yesterdays -10 Celsius. I couldn't resist from going to the car wash. Thought Id share some pics








Then I decided to wash the inside of my new corner lights... Just kidding. But unfortunately my corner lights are very poorly sealed! Not only did water get in them, soap got in them I took them out and am letting them evaporate overnight then im going to see if I can seal them up a bit better. See the soap



While I had my lights out, I tried removing my broken A/C line so its not just hanging loose. Couldnt do it. I cant believe how tight the bolts are! Soaked em in PB blaster and shall try again tomorrow.

Thanks you. I really like my new headlights. Havnt had any condensation in the headlights, just the corners and tails which I hope to fix

Yeah, the lights really transformed it! Looks much nicer now! I'm really glad I told you to get the black ones like those instead of the smoked chrome ones.

And yeah, poor sealing is common on those corner lights, but the head lights are quality

I sealed the crap out of the corners last night with this stuff called Clear Automotive Goop. I sealed around everywhere I thought it was leaking, perhaps a little more then needed. Hopefully they wont leak anymore and hopefully its not too noticeable when I put them in the car.

Great job man, that's exactly what I had to do with mine... I used clear caulk though (yours stuff probably works better).

i learnt the hard way, my corners have started to crack because of constant cold (rain water) /hot (lights)

Id offer my old stock ones but they have paint overspray all over them (just underneith (not on the lenses)) lol

Hmmm, Just found a 1.8L 16Valve Engine with only 135 kms on it. It came out of a 1999 Corolla. The guy is asking $400. Sounds like it is a 7A-FE but not sure and sounds like it is just the engine. Do you think it would fit? What 1.8L engines did the 1999 Corolla come with?

If it is a 7A-FE, might help take the vibration away on my header by lifting the engine and exhaust pipe up off the sub-frame...Plus I could paint it and replace all the rusty parts and detail my engine bay while swapping...The thought gets me excited

I raised my car this morning to inspect my header (making sure its not fatiguing from all the rattling). I also took some pics of my Trans mount and my control arms. I would like to replace all of my mounts, control arms and bushings and ball joints. Heres some pics (I feel sorry for whoever will be replacing them).

Yes I am, in fact I may even use this pic. ( I wanted to stop and park sideways on the small bridge over the river but it was a very small bridge and I couldnt see when cars were coming lol)
