Corolla Sound's 97 DX AE101 On-Going Project

Looking good, we're all switching out the winter wheels!

I had the little trunk lights wired in, and when I switched out the lighted panel, I forgot about the wires and just left them there. Not a big deal, really.

From the pictures, the lugs do not look bent to me, I think it's just the way the drums are sitting on there.

Atleast the vents are easy to paint and dont require any taping.

I pulled my wires out of the trunk hole and sealed it up (with tape lol).

I think they look bent because they are all (front ones too) bent in the same direction. Though they arn't twisted or warped like on my friends Nissan

They do look a bit bent to me, but I'm not sure, could just be the picture. Eitherway, good to see you with the summers on again

Ice Storm Catastrophic Disaster Avoided (Tree almost fell on my car lol)






Not many branches left on the tree to fall. Luckily I was able to get my car moved in time before that massive branch fell. Would of busted my windshield! Ill post some more pics later of the ice storm, power keeps going on and off

And this storm is coming here. 20-30cm of snow expected in Montreal.

The center garnish looks good! Color looks spot on! And the interior looks a lot better now that you have the freshly painted black handles.

But that sucks, the damage to the trees. You were brave to go out and take pics with the stuff still coming down!

Thanks Kenny, but actually in person, it looks slightly darker. I dont think the person who painted my car used the right Toyota green 6PF factory paint or the place that is mixing up my spray cans is getting it wrong. but its close enough for me lol.

Hopefully there wont be anymore icicles on my car for the rest of the year lol

I had to put my rims on though for this weekends first drifting event of the year. Hopefully it will be a good turn out with nice weather.

and I was actually more worried about getting freezing rain on my camera, or else I would of snapped more pics lol It would be very handy to have that garage constructed, I can always just rig up a tarp lol

Dang, I'm thankful we aren't getting any freezing rain up here this year and it's not really dropping below 0 anymore. Last 3 years we got freezing rain in February then in April real bad.

Went to this years first drift event on the weekend. It was pretty cold and windy and the track was wet in the morning, but it was still a good show. I didn't get as many pics as I wanted to because of the cold but heres a few:

Thats a nice looking car. Im liking the green, it looks slightly shinier/brighter than the oem factory green paint. I wonder if it was painted. Looks great.

think its just been well maintained or resprayed at some point of its life..

I just finished installing my freshly painted sun visors. First time using Duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint and I think it turned out pretty good. I thought for sure it was going to seap under the tape on my driver visor but it turned out good.

Thanks, I havnt posted much lately as I havnt done much to my car besides this. I should note that if you plan on doing this, do not wash your visors by completely submersing them in a bucket of detergent water. Mine got soaked and took 2 days to dry, plus I had to squeeze the last bit of water out. I recommend using a bunch of rags and a brush to clean the outside. Try not to let the inner sponge get soaked.

actually id recommend a interior ttim.shampoo the cheapest one is.from.astonish and the expensive.one.is.from.megs both do the same.thing while preserving the fabric and condotiong it...

Very nice David!! I remember doing the exact same thing to mine, makes a big difference when they are extended. But I didn't care to mask the text as nicely as you did, yours looks pro. And mine ended up all sticky.
