Remove the trunk liner on the inside of the trunk lid. To do this, remove all of the plastic compression screws holding the liner to the lid. (The trick is to hold the outer part while unscrewing the center to break it loose, then use the panel tool to pop it out)

To remove the Taillight panel, use an extended 10mm socket to remove the 4 nuts inside the trunk lid. One is in a hole (extended socket needed) and the other is parallel above it.

DO NOT remove the 2 nuts beside the lock.
Once the 4 bolts are removed, the light panel should pop out with a bit of force.
Needs EditingI havn't actually successfully removed it yet. I was taking the last 10mm bolt off and it felt like the beebing screw broke in the taillight panel housing (the nut just keeps spinning instead of breaking loose). Very Frustrating because even with the 3 10mm nuts removed, it doesnt feel like it wants to come off. Im going to get out the rotary tool and see if I can cut the stupid thing off (but probably wont be able to get under the nut to cut it) arghhhhhhhhhhhhh lol
Am I missing anything?
