| Hi there guys. Found this site just today and didn't hesitate in registering. Recognise a few faces/usernames on here from other forums (clubae111.com, toyspeed.org). About my toys, my main project and the real money sucker atm is my AE-111 Levin. Not to get into detail as this is a 101 forum, . I also own an AE-101 Levin ('93 facelift model) as my daily. Is as factory as they come thank goodness, GT-Apex (4AGE silvertop model), manual. Will get some more pics up later tonight possibly. Basically the mods list are really basic, GT-Z bonnet, King Spring super low springs with Monroe GT gas shocks. AE-111 BZ-R factory steering wheel and AE-111 BZ-R alloys. Is the factory green, grey two-tone in colour. PICS TO COME | |

| What I can do right now is post up the TradeMe advertising photos of my 101. As I bought her, as factory standard as possible! Looking at these photos again it's really apparant how much I have cleaned it up in the 4 months I have owned it. Like I was saying, the engine bay, exterior and interior is MUCH tidier now with a good polish, new gearknob and steering wheel and floor mats (all courtesy of my BZ-R donor for the 111 project ). Drives very well, no real issues, just due for a maintenance service which is definitely on the to-do list. Will get much more updated pics up once she gets back from the panel beaters where she is getting the GT-Z bonnet and clear coat peel fixed up you can see in the photo's above. Hopefully this will be all sussed just after Easter, waiting for my tax return to pay for the work. Basically the plans for her after the body work is complete is to have a well presented example that is "cool" enough, clean and a pleasure to drive the mates and the partner around in. --- Pretty much cause I can, and I'm sure we all love every generation of the 4AGE, here is the real money spender! When I first purchased her (learner plates repping)! To .... Basically when I bought her Christmas '09, she was a '96 XZ model (4AFE), auto. So yepp, the 4AGE BT and manual conversion was/is a must. So I came across a wrecked BZ-R on TradeMe after a bit of searching, funilly enough it was only located 5 minutes in that direction from my place! Ended up buying it as my donor car (4AGE 20v BT only done 99,000k's, 6-speed LSD box and all the other goodies)! At present waiting for my MRP coilovers for her then the currently installed Monroe GT gas shocks with King Spring SL are coming out and going into the 101, along with the BZ-R factory alloys from the donor!

| woahza, I like you already! IMO, we need more AE111s along. Many parts are swappable, and the DIYs pretty much the same, and both equally good looking!
Thanks for joining, welcome, and hope to see more of your cars!

Thanks mate. Much appreciated. Opinions/ideas/criticism always welcomed for any of the two. If you wanted to have more 111's on here, may need to change the club title/URL address. I typed in "ae101 club" into Google and I found www.ae101ownersclub.com, Chances of having 111 owners here are seeming thin at best! Change to club 4AGE? Lol. Or I think there may be already a club 4AGE..

| Yeah, I think there is already a club(s) for that haha. I'm just saying that I'm glad to see you joining and can see your slightly newer cars, which I don't see much. | |
