You'll definitely love the wheel. Coming from the $30 ebay wheel, I actually feel like I'm driving something sophisticated every time I go off for a drive now. lol as for how hard it is to come by, all I did was ask was post a thread and Ishaq was all like, "Hey I can get one for you." haha I'm guessing it is kind of rare though because of the red stitching. I see the black stitchings on ebay but rarely ever the red. Might wanna ask Ishaq though.

LOL dang that's crazy. I was so scared after the install that I reached in from the passenger side to switch the key to the 'on' position just to be sure.

so in recent news, i needed to use my rear tow hook and i thought about yours.... and then i was like man i need to get one of those. THEN, i went to hook up my car to pull it out and to my surprise i dont have a rear hook. not even a factory one .....

i have 2 rear ones.. one on either side

yeah, im absolutely positive. i looked. i thought it was weird as well. alan's LE has 2 as well. i thought they all had 2 but i guess i was wrong.

When I had my car towed (flatbed of course), I couldn't find my tow hooks, until the tow truck guy looked under the front of the rear tires on the floor, the tow hooks were covered with plugs so were difficult to find.... Im not sure if they were actually tow hooks though (because they were infront of the rear tires, I think they were just support straps? I know I have 2 tow things on the front but not sure about the back. That probably wasn't very helpful

yeah i have fronts. and im not even sure that i have the spots to bolt them to the car. when i go out ill double check. if i do ill get some today

just went to the junk yard and none of the corollas had rear tow hooks. maybe only special models? and sorry kenny for clogging up your thread. im sure chris or ishaq can delete all this. any who, im going to another one later, hopefully ill find some. if the corollas dont im pretty sure the prizms will. anyone without them want me to pick them up some if i find them?

Strange that you can't find any rear tow hooks....

I found one on a 93. I only bought the left side. And scored some other cool stuff too for example a face lift rear reflector

lol naw I'm totally fine with off-topic discussions. Mine didn't come with an OEM hook either so I found a 96/97 corolla and took it off that.

I could've had it protrude out of the bumper but I personally think that looks redundant. So I have it like this to keep it tucked.

OK... I was gonna say... it looked like only one bolt holding it on in the first pic, but I see two bolts on the second pic, good

Yikes this is kinda embarrassing but yeah... it's only 1 bolt. I'd do 2 if I could but I'd need to drill through some hard stuff.

Great... now you guys got me feeling insecured and embarrassed. haha guess I got a weekend project coming up.

well, I hope your car never needs to be towed by it, but if it does, I'd hate for that one bolt to break, being it would support the entire force of the car.

I think the one bolt could easily manage, however I'm a perfectionist and would hate for bolts to hang loose

Maybe if you got a stronger bolt you'd be okay? I say drill out the holes and put another bolt in it.
