Yeah considering that wheel came from overseas, that's a HUGE deal. The wheels&airbags here in the states go for a lot more than that (well except for mine after I was finished with it lol )

YAY!!!! Can't stay away from the Corolla scene.

Well I got some new pics. Was driving home and thought the sunset looked pretty nice but it was setting really fast so I tried to get as much pics as I could. Plus I'm stressing from school so this is a good relief for the meantime.

Let me know what you guys think. Too much HDR maybe? To much colors? And I really need to learn how to work around those electric poles. Ruined a couple of my pics. lol

I feel ya. I used to like the kit look too but I love how much more mature the JDM look is compared to the kits. A big kit on a slow front wheel drive car just isn't right in my opinion.

Got this bad boy on today. Can't tell you guys how comfortable and firm it feels. EVERY steering wheel should be this sexy!

And Chris I just followed your instruction on your cardomain and I got the airbag light to reset. I guess I got what it takes to be a drummer.. LOL thank you for taking the time to make all those useful DIYs on your page.

Not gonna lie... I thought about death when I was installing the airbag module. I was thinking if I were to die right here, right now because of a sudden airbag explosion, would I be ready? LOL!! I know there's a slim chance that it could've gone off without the battery plugged in.. but there's still a chance from a static charge nontheless!! Twas pretty scary.

But anyways!!! Thanks Ishaq for going through so much trouble to help me out.

Dude... that looks so awesome! And lol @ thinking about death while installing it that's probably something I would do too, I'm too much of a "worry-wart". Glad it all went well though.

hahaha! I felt the same exact "brush with death" when removing and installing airbags! That's why I go to the trouble of the DIYs, to help prevent people screwing things up. I never thought about it saving lives though lol.

And I'm not just saying that, those pics are perfect. I don't know what you're talking about "too much HDR" and "too much color".

And the steering wheel looks great, it really is my favorite one. OEM FTW.

reading through this thread may or may not have given me the inspiration to install my 8th gen side skirts. love it! how was installing the rear tow hook?

i know what you mean about thinking about the airbag deploying lol i think about it at least 5 times a day due to the spiral cable recall on the tacomas. im so paranoid that i disconnect it while standing outside of the vehicle. some techs in the shop could care less. they do it sitting in the drivers seat with the batt. still hooked up... brave souls
