Car already has no traction in the rain as it is lol

How wonderful!! It is an amazing car. Look at the style and color!! It’s perfect car to gift. You know I searched a lot on lexus models and got confused in selecting one out of them. Actually my son will turn 18 next month and I want to gift a car on his birthday.

OK I'm pretty behind on this (again) so I'll catch up right now.

Christmas came and went



I finally ordered my first set of winter wheels and tires.

Wheels are XXR527 in Chromium Black, 18", 8.75" wide.  35mm offset front, 20mm offset back.

Tires are Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D in 225/40-18.








Fitment is almost as flush as the summer setup, close enough for winter lol








Got a real carbon-fiber cover for the glove box, I'll install it after I swap the dash




Got some goodies from V-LEDs.  Top is the new reverse license plate frame 5000k LED, the bottom is some LEDs for the high beams.





Installed the license plate frame.

Had to drill a hole in exactly the right place:



Grommet and wires installed:



LED mounted in place on the license plate (I did not use the magnetic cover):



Looking up under the trunk lid, the green dots highlight where the wire runs:



The wires go to the reverse light signal and ground.

Lit up... it's really bright, but kinda blue.  It also dims the other lights, it's so powerful lol.



Finally, the reverse camera is not grainy at night... and I have a pretty good anti-tailgater light lol

The weather was actually nice for once, 50 degrees... so I washed the car quickly because I couldn't see out the windows anymore from all the salt lol.  

Been forever since I put up pics, so I took a few really fast.

Beautiful weather today!  

Filled up the car with 2 flat cartloads of bushes from HomeDepot




I still don't know how I managed to fit all of this in there in one trip lol





After cleaning up the huge mess inside, I changed the wheels from winters to summer.


These were great, but the softer material just doesn't have the extreme traction I need when it's warmer.





Washed the car with the summers back on.  The body is in terrible shape after the winter lol, I've got my work cut out for me

Well it's been forever since I took pictures of my car, and it's not really in any kind of clean or presentable way, but why not?  I'll do some mods in the fall when the weather is nice.

(Pictures are taken literally out in the middle of nowhere in South Carolina, as I drove from Baltimore to Atlanta)

Hey Ishaq, yeah the car was wrecked 13 months ago, but was back on the road 2 months later. Now it's almost all back to normal with how it looks finally, I just need to add side skirts I've been really lazy/busy about it, so I don't have any pics lol

Apologies for not keeping the thread up to date, life's been pretty crazy since I wrecked the car in the rain almost 2 years ago.

I got it repaired by a shop though, by welding on a JDM Altezza front end.  Came out alright













Gave it a good wash, put all of the extra bits back together.  Wired up all of the lights on the front to my custom needs.  It wasn't that shabby, I liked the two-tone for some reason haha

Several updates, mods, and disasters later, here's how the car sits as of right now.
